3/11/2023 - Kaimen

Kaimen was the first young man we had the pleasure of taking on a fishing trip when we started this adventure several years ago. this is our fifth trip with him, and It has been really fun watching him grow! This is gonna be the last trip where I am in his same relative height range because he is growing fast. Kaimen is a super athletic, multi-sport athlete. He is also quite competitive as evidenced by the pre-trip 40-yard dash he challenged me to in the parking lot. Let's just say my hamstring had different thoughts than my pride and with that Kaimen crossed the finish line before I came limping by. At least we got to touch on Proverbs 16, pride goes before a fall. Fishing was a little slow with a massive cold front and some tough winds, but Kaimen was able to get it done and net a few nice fish! He even got to catch a nap toward the end of the float which he said was a highlight for him! Super proud of this young man, and we love spending time with him. we can't wait for the next trip! big shout out to Zack Mott for chaperoning the trip, Dave Fason for these incredible pics and Dave French for running a second boat and shuttle for us!
